Gabriel found himself at the Ministry much more frequently these days. He had his normal training, yes, but he'd also taken to following on patrols as much as possible, going above and beyond the YATI curriculum. All so he could get out of his flat, where his Ma was likely to turn up at any time.
She needed to go bother Isabella or Rafael, and leave him alone for a change.
So here he was, grabbing a lift up to Level 2 for another day avoiding his mother at the office. Maybe he'd catch one of the Aurors heading out for patrol to tag along. Or something. Who knew? He entered the lift and pressed the "2" for level two and waited for the doors to close. |
