This was, quite possibly, the most pointless lesson Nemesis had ever attended, and that really was saying something. Herbology was bad enough, but still had more than enough uses for them to continue engaging with it. But flowers, not even with a focus on their use as an ingredient or remedy, but for the sake of hope, decoration too, just pointless. The fact they'd ended up near Williamson's hut was ultimately the final nail in the coffin.
What had Flamsteed said? Focus on channelling the feeling. Use the energy for the plants. If she believed that made any sort of difference, then she had no place to argue with Nem's decision to sit this one out. For the plants, or whatever. Ditching the chrysanthemum in the dirt by the nearest student, Nem retraced their steps, heading back for the flower patch via the greenhouse.
