Violet nearly smiled at the second year's caution--she must have really been struck by the lecture in Transfiguration class all right. Well, that was all right. And, from what Violet could tell, her pronunciation and wand movements were pretty good. So, why not go ahead--what's the worst that could happen? (nNot much worse than what's already been happening, and at least the teacher could probably get them out of any difficulties with this)

"Sure, go for it," Violet said confidently (maybe more confidently than she felt, but she'd never let that show).
