How could this be happening?????? Cathal didn't know what had landed him on this list. He'd been keeping to himself and hadn't done nearly as many foolish things as some of the others in this room. Was it because, as Kinsay and Quinn had both pointed out, he was loud???
He just forgot to switch to his inside voice sometimes, but never in class!! Cathal shouldn't be here! Nobody should.
Cal didn't think he'd ever been this far below ground and all he could notice was how quiet it was. No outside sounds to distract them from the place they were. He missed Derryvane.
He wiped away his tears, but new tears quickly started rolling down his cheeks as he fumbled for his wand to hand to the Headmaster.
Enough people were worrying over Professor Williamson, Cal decided. He sniffled and shuffled over to Moose, silently sitting down next to him. Did he want to hold hands??? They could hold hands if he wanted.
