The hurt Vipertooth flailed about on the ground in pain, its tail thrashing this way and that.

"RAAAWWWWWWWWWWK!"

Its brother was just as vocal and violent, directing a line of fire towards anyone nearby, but stopping just short of causing any real harm due to a protective shield cast by one of the wizards in the vicinity (Fintan). Instead it turned and started setting fire to the surrounding bushes.

The Hebridean Black continued to forge forth in attempt to break the barrier between itself and the group of children (Boot Group). The extra shielding (Jasper) seemed to be keeping it back for now.

Angered by the protective charms, the large dragon went bounding for someone else (Aurora) instead.

The dragon expertly dodged the spells aimed its way, but in doing so he did not realize his loosened hold on the young child (Dahlia). Her wiggling drew its attention and the dragon released her momentarily in order to readjust its grip. Unfortunately, at the same time, a rogue bombarda caused injury to its tail.

Squawking in pain, the dragon flapped towards the nearest cave, leaving the child to fall from the sky.
