Delilah looked at her parchment a second time.

So it was definitely signaling a bad omen, and it was very obvious why that was. What exactly had been good about her time at this castle? Not much so far. She guessed those two light rocks reminded her of the few good moments that had happened in between all the bad ones. She had met a few new friends, and she was pretty happy about being sorted into Gryffindor.

So what about the bad omen then? Delilah dipped her quill in her ink and began writing.

I think the rocks are trying to remind me of the difficulties I've faced since coming to Hogwarts. I think they are trying to tell me that there's more difficulties to come, but now that I know this, I can maybe come up with a plan to avoid them.
