Thank the elements the Entry Door had deposited her in the right place this time. She never did make her initial appointment with Flamsteed on her first day of week, though she did briefly encounter him in the Hall of Prophecy. But she had grown increasingly frustrated with trying to work in makeshift workspaces--alchemical research required privacy and space. So she had made an appointment today to speak to her new boss about it. She had never really gotten a chance to properly introduce herself to the man--their brief encounters had been in passing in hallways and elevators--and she wasn't sure he even really knew who she was. So she was looking forward to the opportunity for a little one-on-one time.

Always neat and put together herself, Jane felt almost slovenly when she entered this pristine office, though--she was almost afraid to touch anything, so she just stood and pondered things as she waited for Flamsteed.
