mini challenge thirty-six

In the year 2020 most of us haven't been able to do all the things we would have liked to do.
Somehow it was (still is) the year of plans that were never carried out.

Your challenge now is to write a drabble or ficlet of your character(s) doing something YOU would have liked to do in 2020.
Can be something like going to a foreign place or throwing a huge party with lots and lots of people.
Or simply visiting a friend or hanging out with your grandparents the way you would have liked.
There's no limits to your inspiration for this challenge.

It just has to be something you weren't able to do in 2020 but would have liked to do.

This challenge lets you live vicariously through your character(s).

And we all need that sometimes, don't we? Especially if we can't do the thing in real life.
