Yassi had very little business being out and about now that the summer holiday was soon approaching. There was quite a lot to do in terms of preparation for the new cohort of students who would be eager to obtain their apparation licenses. This was typically a source of energy for the thirty-two year old, but as of late there was a large cloud hanging over head on level six.
With news of Kendra's departure, Yasmin found it increasingly more difficult to bring her usual cheer to the office. As such, she made it her prerogative to float around the ministry as much as possible. Though sooner or later she would surely find herself out of excuses to do so.
Fortunately today, she had plenty excuse. Or at least a box full of them. A cardboard box full of plants and excuses. She stepped inside the work area, looking around with bright, hopeful eyes. There must be someone willing to adopt.
