The fun never stopped when you had about five billion kids,, and Jake didn't know which one worried him the most, but the answer was probably... all of them. Work was relaxing in comparison, even since moving across to Aurordom.

He'd taken the morning off to take Charlie to one of his appointments before dropping him back at Hexagon Alley (tag-teaming with Becca was usually for the best, no use both of them losing a morning of work, and he wouldn't dream of leaving all that stuff for her to handle alone), and arrived in the Atrium looking all kinds of harried.

As he passed the Fountain of Magical Brethren, Jake glanced up at it automatically-... and stopped in his tracks not far from the Chosen boy. Friend of Kaiser's.

"What in the..." At first he thought it was someone's idea of a joke (he personally knew a little statue defacer who might have gotten a kick out of it) until he took a better look at the slogans. This did not sit well at all. Especially if it was happening inside the ministry now. "Chosen, you happen to see Evangeline Toussaint in the last few minutes?" It would probably be a bit of an overreaction to send a patronus about this, right? "Should probably get maintenance over here at least." And security.

Given what he knew about the similar incidents in Diagon Alley, Jake had no reason to believe that simple spells would remove the graffiti. Instead, he drew his wand and wordlessly conjured up a large dust sheet, with the intention of draping it over the fountain until they could figure something out. Oh. Wait. Might be an idea to stop the water first.

Mornings like today's always had him a teeny tiny bit all over the place.

Kodee was about to reach out to touch the mark, wondering if it may have been magical or a muggle implement used to put it there. The appearance of the auror made him no less inclined to do so but the question did give him pause. "I haven't." He admitted. MLE was a busy department. Most times, he only really saw the security officers and only because they were working in the ministry.

If he was asking for the head, this could be serious. "Why? Is this a crime scene now?" Because if it was...he...probably wouldn't touch it, but now he definitely wanted a picture to show Kenzie. Preferably one with him in it. "Saw some blokes from maintenance over by the food court, though. They might still be there. Lunch break or something. Don't reckon they'll wanna be pulled away for some light cleaning."

Just a stain on the fountain, no big deal.

"Reckon we could probably knock this off ourselves--but, uh, hey, not just yet. I wanna get in a pic or two. Not every day you find something neat enough to take home to your girlfriend, y'know?" Not when you worked up in the office of paperwork, memos and more paperwork.

Sometimes, it was the little things that kept you excited. In this case, it was random writing on the wall.
