Eiji had entirely forgotten that this thing was a thing and that it was today.
So it was by pure happenstance that he happened to be by the Willow today, his purpose to check on a sort of private gardening project of his own. The Whomping Willow was the perfect natural defense mechanism to protect his merchandise, so to speak. Though could one truly call it that when there was no intent on selling? Questions he did not bother dwelling on due to the internal GROAN drowning out all other sounds and processes inside his head.
Phial clutched in his hand, he wondered how difficult it would be for him to sneak around the growing pride and den...because he really did need to check on things. By his last inspection they should be prime for harvesting.
So..casually and pointedly not making ANY eye contact with anyone...the seventh year proceeded forward because this whole competition or bonding activity or whatever was a BIG no thank you.
