The day had finally come, the day for a little friendly competition while he hung out with Piers. They were being both responsible and welcoming while they watched their respective students wreak havoc on each other. It was like taking your kid to a playdate and letting them run wild--except this was a mostly planned event and it did have structure.
Honestly, he was here to watch the kids knock each other silly into a pit of foam while he sipped some tea and had great conversations.
"They should be getting here soon." He commented, noting the time on his watch. Something else he noted? The odd tint in the sky. It was...almost purple. Now being the designated "THE SKY IS FALLING" person at school, it didn't sit well with the man but it was likely nothing more than an impending storm. The sky did tend to be temperamental when weather change was in order.
"Do we place bets now, or after we've had a good look at the competition?"
He had a few theories to begin with.
As the students got closer, they'd probably also notice the music that was near blasting. Songs from some of the latest bands out there. Just to add to the ambiance of the afternoon. It would likely attract others outside Slytherin and Gryffindor house but that wasn't a problem necessarily.
And look, they'd made snacks...er...the elves made snacks on that table over there. Let the games begin?
