Phoebe was SO proud of herself for coming up with a suggestion that the Headmaster liked, and she skipped along beside of him instead of taking the time to tap and shake things. She still remembered to occasionally poke her head into a barrel every now and then, but mostly she just saw old broken things.
And then Gryffindor showed up, and she was just grateful it wasn't dumb old Slytherin with the beard (real... she'd checked already). "Hello, Mr. Gryffindor." She knew the Headmaster was trying to shift them away, but she only shifted slowly at his shooing. "I'm a Gryffindor m'self, sir. This isn't a very good hiding place. I would expect you to know the very best ones. I like some of the spots behind tapestries, myself, 'specially for flat things like portraits."
