 Detention: Ewan Jones
As always, the owlery at the top of the West Tower is noisy, even as you head up the stairs. Opening the door sends a gust of wind directly at you, along with the smell of literally everything on the floor: Pellets, old animal skeletons, some owl-leftovers that nobody's gotten around to disposing of, berries, owl droppings.
Meanwhile, Professor Sandhu is dressed warmly and seems entirely oblivious to the less than pleasant surroundings. She's foregone her usual saree for a pair of smart-looking wool trousers and a knitted sweater under a black trench coat as she waits. In fact, evenhooting does not seem to interfere with her reading her copy of Classical and Quantum Approaches to Black Holes.
Do try to be punctual. You really do not want to stretch this detention out longer than strictly necessary.
