After encountering Helga Hufflepuff earlier in the term near the kitchens, Carys was keeping well aware of her surroundings on the trip down to Potions. Her sister had mentioned seeing Gryffindor, and she’d heard rumors of Slytherin sightings as well, so she was definitely starting to wonder what was going on. Even if she still didn’t believe the theory that it was all some sort of elaborate Polyjuice plot, it was definitely odd. Besides, she figured Professor Noble would know if it was all due to a potion.

Although she wasn’t planning on asking her head of house that question, and his expression would have stopped her even if she had thought about asking it. She wasn’t afraid of the professor at all, but she also knew not to bring up unnecessary topics during a lesson. Instead, she’d merely taken a lab coat and goggles, slipping both on as she headed to her usual workstation, turning to give him a smile as she got herself settled in. “Good day, Professor Noble,” she added, before lapsing into the requested silence again, quietly wondering what was in the box. Were they working on antidotes again maybe?
