This was the worst place in the ENTIRE castle. Nina was absolutely sure of it. She hated the owlery so much!!! And hated Navid even more for being the reason why she had to frequent it every other day. No, she didn't hate him. She couldn't ever do that, even when they weren't on speaking terms. She loved him far too deeply to ever find hate in her heart for him.
But she did hate the owls. That much she knew for a fact.
