At the sound of a voice, the boy's head turned, revealing his slug-covered face to the girl. Only one brown eye looked at her as he thought about how to respond to her question. Did he even need to respond?
"Well ..." Asher responded, trying his best to grab a hold of that slimy slug that was stuck on his face. "I've been ..." Ugh. Why was getting a slug off his face so difficult? "... better."
Just then he managed to get a grip on the sticky thing and started to pull it away from his face. It was not as easy as a feat as one would think. So. Much. Mucus. "Yuck!" he exclaimed, plopping the slug into the slime pool with a plop.
Now for the challenge of this slimy situation: getting out. "Any ideas on how to get outa here without slipping?"
She watched her with a little concern and a little amusement. She felt guilty for being amused, but how couldn't you be when you saw someone in the slug pit? She had been there before, but she never really minded it as much as she felt others did.
"How did you end up in there?" She never thought about the fact that some didn't know it was here, being here for the years she had she forgot what first years didn't know.
When he flung the slug she cringed a bit,
"Be careful with them. You are in their home." Why did people get so grossed out so easily? She looked around before pulling her wand. First, let's get the slime off your hands and face, that will help your grip. Saying the cleaning spell she did the wand movements.
"Now give me your hand and I'll help you." She got on her knees and leaned over to grab his hand.
