Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Gunnar was slightly curious about the classroom setup when he entered the greenhouse, pausing to note the lack of workstations and the two tables remaining. Hm. "Good afternoon, Professor," he greeted the man, and grimaced slightly at whatever he was doing with his tongue before turning his eyes to the instructions on the whiteboard. Clues? Gunnar was very proficient in Herbology and figured that he could work anything out presented to him, so he put his things away, minus his gloves and... ugh, he hated wearing goggles, but grabbed those too. And he headed back to the boxes where a few people were already standing.
Oh, they couldn't even look at the plants? Gunnar liked this game much less than he thought he would, knowing he could identify many from sight. But he paused to read the clues, figuring he could use some of the knowledge he had about known poisonous plants to deduce some characteristics. Smells bad. He glanced from the words on the box to Eiji standing next to it, then moved to the next one. While he knew of some plants with healing properties that did smell bad, he also knew of poisonous ones that did as well. Yellow flowers. Again, knew of some that were fine, knew of some that weren't. Ugh, next. Clusters of leaves. Most of the poisonous plants he knew had this characteristic, though he also knew of some that didn't. This really wasn't narrowing much down.
But in the end, Gunnar decided to stand next to the blue box marked Thorns, as he thought of wild raspberries, knowing that thorns provided a different purpose to the plant, rather than poison.
