Hair up in two buns and a long, white, shift-dress on, Simran was beyond ready to party. It'd been quite a while since she'd been invited to a party of any sort, certainly none of the fancy kind since her husband passed, and none of the actually fun kind since people started thinking she was too old for said fun. Too old for fun, however, was she not. Not when she was here, dressed as Princess-slash-General Leia Organa.

She wasn't sure when a good time to arrive was, but seeing the room beginning to fill as she planned to strategically walk by, decided now was as good a time as any.

The decor was impressive, but she would expect nothing less from Carwyn. He had the whole world at his disposal, being a Transfiguration whizz. But yes. Very impressive. Most impressive of all seemed to be the dancing skeleton, which seemed to be doing some very familiar moves.

Hm.

She drew closer, looking down at the bony feet and mirroring the movements with her own. "Left, back, cha-cha- oh, that's not a cha-cha-cha," she said, nose wrinkling as she tried again on the next downbeat. "Left, back, three-and-four, five-and- AH HA."

It was a JIVE. She could jive! In fact, she'd been mirroring the skeleton pretty well since she'd figured it out. All it took for the skeleton to grab her hand was her stumbling over the hem of her dress and all of a sudden, she was dancing. It'd been a long time, and she was rusty, but she certainly could do some things.

"Love what you've done with the place," she called out at Carwyn, as soon as she was in earshot. "I'm dancing with death!"

And she was really loving the allegory.
