The weather in November guaranteed today to have a breeze as the students walked towards the greenhouses. Luckily, today’s Herbology lesson was just after lunch so they had had ample time to get a warm drink down them before the short walk. As always, the water station is set up outside Greenhouse Five for students to grab a quick drink before class starts, but they are not permitted to enter the greenhouse with those drinks. So drink up, and get inside! Because it’s definitely warmer in here than it is out there.

Upon entering Greenhouse Five, you’ll notice that it has been cleared of most workstations, leaving one at the front (which Professor Rainwater is leaning against) and another at the back with four boxes upon it. Behind Professor Rainwater is a whiteboard with the opening instructions on, as is with all of his classes. Professor Rainwater hates blackboards, the dust from the chalk makes him sneeze and he much prefers the squeak of a board marker than the drag of chalk. Deal with it. Xo

The four boxes at the back are in the four Hogwarts house colours, each with a flag above. Professor Rainwater is watching (although, he is now currently with his tongue stuck out and trying desperately to pluck away whatever fuzzy had gotten onto it) for anyone to touch and there will be removal from the greenhouse should instructions not be followed. Each flag has a clue written on it in Gus’ uppercase handwriting, making it much easier for everyone to be able to read.

Above the green box: “SMELLS BAD!”
Above the yellow box: “YELLOW FLOWERS!”
Above the red box: “CLUSTERS OF LEAVES!”
Above the blue box: “THORNS!”
