Benjamin Stylinson was stoked. Transfiguration was great and he, while not so great at transfiguration, was sure that he some day would be. His mum was pretty great at transfiguring things, and he was pretty sure magical ability was hereditary, so clearly it was in his GENES.
Unless he got his dad's magical ability, in which case, he'd got ZERO clue what his dad was particularly good at because he did things the muggle way because baked goods tasted BETTER when there was LOVE in them.
But he could fly a broom, so that had to mean he took after his mum right? Probably? But he was a Slytherin, and his mum was a Ravenclaw like Alex. This was, uh, confusing. More confusing than the strange setup of the classroom. But team work? He LOVED teamwork. He was born on a team, with a built-in teammate, which meant he kinda had to be good with it, right? RIGHT.
"Afternoon, professoooooor," he singsonged, and then looking around for people he KNEW. And there they were! There was a table free where Charlie was, and he knew Charlie from class, sorta. They might not have TALKED yet but he knew she existed and he had to assume it went both ways.
" 'llo, guys! I'm Benji."
Just in case that needed saying. Could be confusing, considering there was another guy with his FACE at the school.
