January had been collecting a few things for the interns, but she knew that Fletcher would be just fine at getting the meeting room ready. Besides, she kind of wanted to see how he would do with teenagers. The thought was amusing to her.
But she wouldn't make them wait too long. January entered the conference room, pleased to see Fletcher and the two interns getting along just fine. She smiled at them. "Hello, again. I see you met Fletcher." She was SO VERY tempted to slip in his first name there, purely because she knew he hated it. But she decided to be nice.
"Ooh, bagels." How very kind of Fletcher to do those.
January took a seat by Fletcher and reached for a plain bagel and some cream cheese, spreading it around while the interns and Fletcher finished introducing themselves. January pushed the stack of memos to the center of the table. "Everyone take a few of these. We're going to get these sent out." Then she waved her hand to the interns and took a bite of her bagel. |
