A nice spring day was something to be appreciated.
And as much as Gideon had a personal connection to the winter surrounding his birthday, he occasionally did the warmer season justice. Like today, pulling himself from his shop to enjoy a lunch out of doors. Granted, he wasn’t all that far from the door of Slug and Jiggers, but he figured it was better than nothing. At least from his vantage point seated on a bunch on the north end of Diagon Alley, if he happened to be really needed at his post, he could still move to help.
He could also enjoy the sandwich of the Leaky in the fresh air and not smelling the potion he had happened to be brewing this morning. Not exactly the most pleasant smelling one but a necessary evil nevertheless. Sometimes one could not help the qualities of a useful and heavily purchased potion all that much. But he helped his stomach by airing out his backroom while munching on his sandwich.
