In fact, Dalia was already beside the doors to the hall, having started walking that way after saying her piece. She was completely over this place. Even more so after having to dodge the door as it was slammed open by Professor Nostredame, nearly missing being hit in the face.
What was that? A creature? "A creature that your students no doubt let in...." But that pronouncement plus the offers of help from those misguided first years was enough to make her rejoin her fellow students, if only to better hear the conversation.
Wait, Professor Noble had done his own investigation? And he waited until NOW to bring it up? And he agreed that it was a creature? And he was agreeing with the misguided first years? At least her fellow fifth years were showing more sense. As it seemed was Headmaster Trent. Or he was making the horrible Headmistress beg for it (their help, that was). An action that had a smirk spreading across the Cuban's face.
The smirk was wiped off Dalia's face when, after Desmarais did indeed beg, Trent agreed to help. "What?! We're just going to help them clean up their mess?! The one they just tried to blame on several Hogwarts students?!" Apparently, they were. Ugh, she'd much rather be packing right now.
