How did she know she had done well? Because upon comparing her papers with Noble’s, it was easy to see that they matched.

All that was left to do now was to figure whom the wrongdoer was. And so, the first year looked from paper to paper in an effort to determine this. Her keen dark eyes darted from one to the other as she focused.

Bernadette was definitely right: Schmoe was the wrongdoer. Poor Schmoe. Claudine actually liked him now and for the rest of his life, he would be known as the cookie thief.
