What Kaiser wanted to do most of all in that moment was send the spell in the professor's direction instead, make him look like a clown too. The thing was, he had a feeling that Barlow would just embrace it. He seemed like a man who would let very little get to him. It was annoying.

In the end, Kaiser just settled for smiling at Barlow, before he looked at his own reflection again. Did he really want to see what this looked like a floor length? No. And he wanted to see Barlow's reaction even less.

... Well, in for a knut, in for a galleon.

He didn't close his eyes this time. It was actually very easy to imagine this hair reaching the floor now that he could see it fully on his head. Kaiser shook his head once in just general disbelief, then raised his wand again.

"Crinis Muto." He focused hard and he tapped his head, and there was the tingly-rustling, only this time Kaiser could SEE it growing.

Growing, growing, growing...

... and still growing...

... and still growing?!

"Halt! Halt!" he cried out, slipping into German as the bright red ringlets grew even longer than floor-length and started pooling around his feet, the thought of using a spell to stop it went clean out of his head. Eventually it stopped by itself, but it was far, far too long. By at least a foot, maybe two. Literally a trip hazard.
