"Pointy so they can stay on the target," Cecelia pointed out helpfully. Pointy wasn't SO bad, not if they tried REAL hard to keep their darts aimed towards the ceiling. WHAT COULD GO WRONG?!

"I'll do my best!" She always did, even when she was pretty sure she wasn't going to be any good at something. She liked thinking that THIS could be her moment to really impress her friends, though. Her professor, too!
Setting a dart down on the floor, pointy part facing UPWARDS, Cecelia gave a little wiggle of excitement. "Okay, let's get some points!" That dart was going up. It was going. It just needed a little extra OOOMPH... "Alarte Ascendare!"
She watched as the dart DID go up, but ONLY as high as her shoulder, which wasn't SO high 'cause she was ONLY a first year, before falling BACK to the floor. She frowned a bit, bending to right the thing again, disappointed but NOT discouraged. She was meant to be carrying her team! "What are we doing wrong, you think?"
