Okay, well, Kaiser was going to take that as a yes. The castles were built using magic. Did that include the bricks? Had the materials been duplicated or transfigured? Were the bricks held into place by magic? How did they know they had checked ALL the magic of the buildings when they were checking things and keeping them ~up to date~ or whatever?
Kaiser had actually opened his mouth to ask just that, but Barlow had moved on. Next time, then.
Take things further? Yikes. Kaiser wasn't entirely sure he liked the sound of that. He was having fun flipping his one long eyebrow, though it was giving him a bit of a sore neck. Clearly the spell's fault.
After the next instruction, Kaiser rooted around in his bag for some parchment and a quill. Making sure his neighbour - hi Eiji - couldn't see it, he wrote down the first thing he could think of for each of the things Barlow had mentioned, then balled up the parchment and threw it from where he stood straight into the bucket. Nice, 10 points to Kaiser. And with one eye covered, too.
Speaking of which, he pointed his wand at his long eyebrow again. "Reverte." Yeah, call him mainstream, but ultimately he preferred the natural eyebrow look.
As for the Phoebe kid? Kaiser cleared his throat loudly to try and get her attention, and with a jab of his index finger, pointed towards the mirror that was nearest to her.
