Which was slightly enough adrenaline booster for the moment, as the fourth year quickly grabbed her parchment to scribble that down. 'Ascendio - use for a first date on the roof'. And parchment back into her bag because it seemed they were forming groups of two or four and ... wait?? They weren't going to launch each other??

Oh. Beanbags. And for the second time in a period of less than five minutes, Carsyn felt deflated. But not for tooooo long cause activity and moving around was good.

"May I?" she asked of Missa and Eiji, moving to stand across from the fifth year pairing.

Smirking a bit when he heard her voice, his own wand idly twirling in his fingers as his head casually swiveled around to meet his favorite set of brown eyes. "Sure you will." There was an almost smile on his face as he moved to collect a few beanbags. "That would be the more difficult target to hit anyway." And a moving target at that, which also implied that he would be unobservant enough to allow for it to fall on his head.

But...anyway. Beanbags. The fifth year knelt down to collect one for himself and Missa...when they were joined by someone else.

Ah. Here was the Gryffindor. Though, at least for now, she didn't seem to be particularly overzealous. Though the Slytherin was skeptical.

"Sure," he shrugged and gave the beanbag he had intended for himself to her instead.

Bending to grab a beanbag for himself, Eiji tossed it idly up and down in his hand as he would a baseball. He preferred to have a better understanding of the weight and composition of whatever object he was about to enchant for whatever reason, so familiarizing himself with the beanbag. It took a couple of tosses before he felt satisfied enough to give the spell a proper go. Seemed simple enough, a flick upwards, and so the fifth year flattened his palm with the beanbag atop it and cleared his throat. "Alarte Ascendare," he spoke, giving his wand a light and mostly unenthusiastic flick. What he expected was for his beanbag to shoot up into the air only about halfway to the target. What actually happened was the beanbag shot like a cannonball away from his palm with a terrible backspin. So much so that the beanbag acted more like a boomerang over this obscenely short distance and struck him right smack between the eyes on its way back before hitting the floor with a pleasantly soft PLOP.

This DID seem fun - which was why she found herself giving Eiji the most 'OH, /PLEASE/' look she could muster, and was about to poke him with her own wand when a Gryffindor joined them. The brunette stepped aside and gestured the girl to come closer, "of course - the more the merrier," she encouraged.

Before she could suggest them practising the spell without the wand however, Eiji was already performing it.

...

And then getting hit in the face.

A yelp left her before she burst out laughing.

"That was intentional, right? you were aiming for your facet?" she teased, before turning to the girl and suggesting with a grin: "Let's start with saying the spell right first though.

Doing just that, while still smirking a bit at Eiji, she found herself repeating the spell first and making sure she got it right. When she was satisfied, she flicked her wrist and attempted to get the movement right - it was tedious but she was nothing if not thorough. Soon feeling confident enough to attempt it, the fifth year aimed her wand at the beanbag and cleared her throat before casting the spell, "Alarte Ascendare".

.....only her aim was not intended for the bullseye, instead she watched as it shot up and then landed REALLY NEAR EIJI'S FACE.

And she smirked, "definitely need more practise."
