Naturally, Kaiser had backed up right into the path of the Beauxbatons headmistress. Naturally, naturally.
He blinked and looked around at the woman. She didn't intimidate him - Kaiser was not very easily intimidated - but he did want to avoid overtly ticking her off, especially when so many Hogwarts staff were present too.
"Oh. Je suis désolé," he said, slipping into French for his apology. Couldn't hurt, right? Speaking from experience, when you were in another country, people seemed to prefer that you adapted to their language. And, well, it was probably a good idea to not make unnecessary waves.
So, no backing away then.
Now that Trent was also here, meaning both Heads were present... could Kaiser still leave? Had he even been allowed to leave in the first place? Would it be considered rude? He thought it might be, especially since this whole thing was - as far as Kaiser could remember - all about interaction between the schools. Dilemma, then, because Kaiser didn't want to show Trent up by being all impolite, especially right in front of him, but he also didn't want to do yoga.
He really didn't want to do yoga.
In the end, Kaiser didn't try to leave again. He instead sidestepped around the gathered staff and students, and came to a stop near Professor Noble at the back of the group. He didn't look prepared to take part, and Noble always struck Kaiser as the sort of man to be prepared for whatever he was doing. Kaiser was going to bank on that, and hang out over here, as if lingering near the Potions Master excused him from the activity.
"... Hello." Don't mind me.
