Default Dance Studio

Care for some ballet? Or perhaps salsa? Jazz? Tap? Ballroom? Hip-hop? Whatever your particular dance poison may be this is the perfect space for you to get your groove on. On Wednesdays and Sundays the studio is even set aside specifically for Pilates and yoga (though the grounds are also a lovely place to do such things during the warmer months). The walls are mirrored and there are barres along one side of the room. A music player sits on a desk in the corner and it magically projects itself through the studio. Soft curtains on the floor to ceiling windows billow gently in time with whatever music happens to be playing.

Need to learn new steps? The mirrors are enchanted to help you out by reflecting back at you a ghostly image of yourself performing the dance move you are trying to learn, thanks to hundreds of years of student dancers sharing their knowledge with the mirrored walls. Students are often encouraged to make use of the dance studio as per healer orders to focus on physical health and mindfulness alongside any other medical treatments they are prescribed with.

Do make sure you are mindful that this is a shared space and book the studio using the sign up sheet on the wall if you wish to practice undisturbed, but try not to be a studio hog.
