Her spaces to decompress were diminishing as well.

She couldn't find her quiet crying nook on the seventh floor anymore, as every house occupied a space within the area now. She could not risk venturing into the library, as there were larger crowds their as well and she didn't fancy being seen around so many books. She didn't like finding sanctuary within empty classrooms, the risk of running into unsuspecting couples in compromising situations was far too high. And so Nina found herself in the Trophy Room for solace. An unlikely, yet surprisingly adequate space for the occasion.

She slowly closed the door shut behind her, locking it from within using her wand. She hadn't yet noticed Drewett's presence, testing the doorknob to make sure the spell had worked. It did, of course. It wasn't until she turned around that she realized she wasn't alone. "Oh," she felt her heart-rate increase significantly. He probably had questions. Why had she locked the door? Why did her eyes look tired?

She straightened her back, hoping that her stance didn't give way to how she was feeling, trying to remind herself that others noticed things far less than one thought them to.
There were names Drewett didn't recognize, and there were also names—the recent additions to the displays, for sure—that reminded him of the people he knew but never interacted with. He recognized Jessa Cambridge's nameplate and he briefly wondered if the former head girl still played with dead specimens like dolls. That was what she was known for, wasn't it? Zoryn's nameplate was present too. He bet his best friend the Gryffindor graduate loved the idea of having left her mark at Hogwarts. Then he came across Eloise's sister's nameplate. And then...another...Fairfield? An older one, for sure, as that certain Elise Fairfield's quidditch captain nameplate dated back to 2080. A Lewis Rasting too, so maybe Eiji and Becky's father? And an Ethan McCarthy, Gunnar and Chloe's dad. He recognized the name 'West Odessa' too. Member of the Dead Kneazles. A lot of his classmates were fans of that band, and he'd listened to a fair number of songs from that band too.

Then and there, he recognized another nameplate, dated 2080-2081 from a former Hufflepuff head boy, that brought a tiny smile to his face. Hi, dad. There was no other Oakey Gunter that this one could think of, and from what his mum told him, dad was definitely head boy in his days. Close by, Drewett recognized a 'Dylan Montmorency' nameplate too. He knew well enough that he was dad's best friend.

Drewett only realized he had been so into his thoughts that he was startled when someone else slipped into the room. He turned his head to look at her, an eyebrow slightly raised as he processed her general appearance without her noticing him yet. She looked tired. Drained. It was quite a mood if you asked him, but he'd never seen Nina like this before. She usually had herself composed whenever she was out in public. The Ravenclaw suddenly felt that maybe, just maybe, the fourth year wanted to be alone for whatever purpose it may be. See, she was even locking the door.

...Awkward.

His green eyes met hers before he opened up his mouth. "Hello." So. Uhm. "Everything...okay?" Drewett had a lot more questions he wanted to ask but he certainly wasn't the type to bombard her with them. He didn't leave his spot on the floor just yet.
