Arts TRANSPONSTER!

Anna was too focused on Headmaster Trent's words to even notice Maeve's attempt at hand-holding. No one had died. The sentence was enough to make Anna relax a little, and she watched as other professors moved closer to the Headmaster. Her eyes were now on professor Noble, who spoke directly to the main man. The Gryffindor moved ahead of another row os students as an attempt to hear what they might whisper to each other better.

That didn't seem to be necessary, however, as Trent was speaking to the entire room. The sixth year didn't particularly feel like answering the Headmaster's question because that was not a lesson and, well, she was more focused on whether or not they were actually safe in there for now. She kept looking over her shoulder and towards the main entrance for any sign of the mysterious mist.

The house-elves popping in out of nowhere and screaming and wailing sent shivers down her spine and she automatically drew her wand out as it took her a second to understand what was going on. Right, they were just afraid. That was okay, given the circumstances.

Everyone's replies and some suggestions almost didn't fully register in Anna's mind because she was saving up her energy to the idea they would actually act upon. Their Headmaster would decide what they were going to do so there was no point listening to anyone else. Anna then kept her ears tuned to his voice and that alone as she looked around at her fellow students.

It was a good thing no one was panicking yet. She kept intently looking around as if to keep them - especially the younger ones - from panicking. Not that she was prepared to comfort a crying first year if she spotted one, but there was something reassuring - to herself, at least - about what she was doing. She did hear what Lucas Dakest had said, and she immediately made a mental note to find him straight away if anything happened within the next few minutes. He thought of himself not strong enough to fight? That would probably make him so. That made Anna automatically took responsibility over him for the time being. He was, after all, the younger brother of one of her close friends. And he was a Gryffindor himself, which already put him under Anna's immediate responsibility anyway.

As the Headmaster spoke again, the girl listened, hoping they'd get more actionable instructions, but instead they were just told the new sleeping arrangements. She tried to wipe the look of confusion and slight disbelief off her face because surely he was working towards actually saving them all, but she couldn't help but feel like that wasn't enough. They were supposed to act, actually do something. Now! Right now! The mist wasn't backing off, in fact, it was basically coming towards them as they spoke, slowly but surely.

If they had any questions? Yes, Anna had one. And no, 'who' wasn't one of them, although she still wanted specific names. "What are we doing about the missing people?" Like, right now. Now. Yes, yes, she knew the mist was dangerous, but people were missing!! They couldn't just wait for the Ministry without doing something!? Every minute was important in these situations and it didn't seem like the Ministry would be able to simply stroll through the mist, now, would they??
