There was the possibility that the announcement was to let everyone know that the Ministry was here and everything would be sorted by the end of the day, but yeah, no..... That was unlikely.

She could only hope that things weren't getting worse.

The blonde reached the Duelling Arena in no time after having rushed there. She immediately began looking for Levi, Ellie, Alfie and Soraya, but she couldn't see them... They would be here soon, she told herself. It was because she had rushed that they weren't... Only a small number of students and staff had arrived. They were fine.

She noticed that both Stas and Lili had arrived. Good. Tessa made her way over to Lili, all the while looking out for her siblings, best friend, and boyfriend, and stood beside her. Stas would likely be focused on protecting younger kids and being there to assist Headmaster Trent if needed, so she didn't go over to her. She hoped Stas wouldn't need to do anything. Tess whispered, uncharacteristically quietly, to Lili. "Do you think something has happened?" It was a dumb question because meetings obviously weren't called for no reason, but she had to ask. What the question really meant was 'Do you think something really, really bad has happened?' and 'Do you think things are getting worse?'

Lili was trying not to panic. She knew panicking was not going to happen. Staying calm was a good option here, and right now Lili saw it as the only option. She couldn't do anything right now, not until she knew more, so she would just stay calm. She was mostly keeping to herself. She didn't want to speculate what might be happening. Yes. She was scared. But she was trying to let it not overwhelm her. She was a seventh year, she needed to be a role model to the other younger students.

She looked over as she heard a question from her friend, and she shrugged. "It must have. They wouldn't have interrupted lessons if it something bad hadn't happened...." And she hoped it wasn't something too too bad. As the headmaster started talking she shut up, and listened to him carefully. Oh. The mist was in the castle now? Okay. That was something to panic about, and she was certainly glad that her common room was not on the lower floors. She was also sad that the potions classroom was now out of action. That was sad. No more potions then? Though, that wasn't really the issue here, or the main concern.

Oh. What do you when in danger. "Constant Vigilance" The blonde murmured, trying to contribute a little. "We need to always be aware of our surroundings, and vigilant to change. We might be so wrapped up in something, or one particular thing, that we miss the danger that is coming from another source, which could end up making the situation worse" For example, they could be so worried about the mist in the ground floors that they missed it potentially working it's way in through the windows. So really, being on guard for all eventualities was possibly a good idea.
