Laleh was late to lunch today, and the thing is that when one was late to lunch, things tended to go bad quickly. For starters, the nice food ran out extremely quickly, and then they'd be left with soggy sandwiches. Not that they didn't love sandwiches, it's just that they didn't like them soggy.

Then, soggy sandwich in hand, they would realise that the whole seating area was full and there's no free seating places. Sighing lightly, they scanned the room for a free seat, ideally opposite someone who looked friendly. AND SUCCESS.

They walked until right opposite the person with their salad and smiled. "Excuse me," they said. "Mind some company?"
