He had pushed more than a few buttons and he was beyond pleased with himself, hardly even flinching when Trinetta shouted his name like that. And he hadn't even included any digs about poultry. There was a lot that he could say in response - namely that she seemed to be entirely missing the point of this being a satire of sorts and not at all the truth. Just...loosely based on it if you were to squint and look at it sideways. Propaganda at its finest.

Satisfied with the outcome, Eiji looked over the poster for anything else he may need to add when he felt some very...VERY...pointed eyes drilling into the back of his skull. Which, naturally, meant he needed to peer around and see who it was. Needless to say, he had not been expecting Missa to be the one sending those his way and it just made him replay their argument over again in his head. Despite how angry it all still made him and how frustrated he was by the whole situation...it only made him miss her. His Missa.

That sadness, however, soon shifted a bit when his eyes fell on the poster Missa was creating for herself. Enough of a shift that the corner of his lips twitched ever so slightly to smirk. Validated and smug, Eiji found himself far too pleased with what he was able to read from her parchment - though he would have corrected her on the fact that he had no ex if it were not for the fact that suddenly Trinetta was looking the other way.

Um. What?

Some of that smugness wiped off his face, he glanced back and forth between the two Ravenclaws. A pickle of a situation he had found himself in previously as well...only different girls. Or, well, different combinations of two different girls given the day.

Unaware that Trinetta was crying but acutely aware that Missa was livid (he all too often found her anger and frustration to be attractive, it was real and outside of the sweet cookie cutter norm), he couldn't help but cast continual glances over towards her. And then he heard that one bloke claim that he was going to report a Dark witch to the Headmaster. Um...no one had said anything about role playing in class and that sounded all too tedious. Eiji did not feel like playing auror today, thanks. Which is why he rolled his eyes and offered the Ravenclaw bloke a cursory look..only to see that his line of sight was directed towards Miss, hiss girlfriend.

Moron. Utter and complete moron who wasn't even remotely humorous to boot. This Drewidiot wasn't even trying to illustrate the notion of false accusations either, just freaked out by the look Missa had on her face. Couldn't account for taste, he supposed.
Oh. And before he forgot...he needed to add the motive on his poster for Trinetta too. Which was easy enough and Missa had already provided the wording.

Quote:
MOTIVATION: A WOMAN SCORNED
Though there was no time to really react to anything otherwise, nor comment on the other offerings of his classmates, as the headmaster moved things along. Lucky for that bloke. Eiji was ready to give him a bit of a tongue lashing for that comment.

Slinkhard? Was that his last name. But yes, DO stumble over your words some more in just how HIS GIRLFRIEND was a Dark witch. And, because this was how the general opinion painted them how she was evil. Go ahead, tell the headmaster. Let's see if you make it on to Eiji Rasting's list.

Agitated all over again, and finding this activity more than a bit frustrating, Eiji gave Trinetta a unknowing nudge with his elbow - since he was still unaware that she was, well, crying. "Seems a bit of a dodgey activity, don't you think? Portraits only know who they are based on what they are told by the person who painted them and others. Hardly a reliable source," he grumbled while grabbing a spare piece of parchment. "Likely make more headway in the investigation by asking questions about the artist."

It was all about perception. Of which...Eiji had very little of at the moment, clearly.

Glancing over again, Eiji beckoned his hand for Missa to join. They could be a group of three, right? One question each and be done. Everyone won.
