Patrick smiled at the professors gruffness. He could totally understand where he was coming from. He hated mornings himself... well at least the kinds of mornings where you had to be alert and active. His eyes had tracked all the other students arrivals and he was surprised to see Kam looking a little sad. He would have to ask her later what happened.
Looking back at Professor Cornish he smiled, “We are completely mediocre when it comes to our placement on the food chain. Sorry got side tracked, are the giant Spiders still milling around.” He had heard wild stories about them from his father. He would like to think that only cool little fluff balls and unicorns floated around the school but he really hated the idea of giant spiders or even snakes... ew.
