He had little interest in joining any water fight, so Professor Noble had quickly made himself comfortable on a foldable camping chair on the edge of picnic blanket as far away from the lake as possible. In one hand he held a butterbeer, and with the other he held a copy of the Manchester Evening News, which he was currently using to shield his eyes from the autumnal sunshine as he surveyed their efforts. The Prefects had done a great job getting everything ready, and helping him fill the magical water balloons that would stain the white shirts, but held no other environmental risks. And of course, the house elves had outdone themselves with the array of food.
Now, all they needed was for the rest of Hogwarts to come join the fun.
