Kaiser caught sight of that glare, he did, and he responded to it with a simple scrunching of his nose. Honestly, he'd had to deal with much worse than a grumpy eleven year old, so this didn't phase him at all.
In fact, what the kid next didn't bother him too much either, though Kaiser did raise his eyebrows of the sheer audacity of the first year, to come over and take a cookie from right out of his pocket. Not that Kaiser had much of a moral high ground when it came to taking things out of other people's pockets. Ahem.
Swallowing his mouthful of cracker, Kaiser transferred his cup of lemonade to the crook of his arm so that his right hand was free, and took his large handful of cookies (now minus one) out from his pocket again. Then, not troubling to be subtle, he licked them. Every single one of them. Just because. "Mmm."
