A large handful of cookies was slipped straight into his pocket, so quickly and so sneakily you would have been forgiven for not noticing, and he scooped up two full stacks of crackers, one for each hand, which left him no hands to pick up any lemonade with. After a moment's pause, he balanced one cracker stack onto the second in one hand, and with the other, retrieved his drink. There. Sorted.
Satisfied with his haul (for now), Kaiser drifted away from the refreshments table and found himself near Patrick. He gave him a nod in greeting, and regarded the others. Other prefect, Vita something - he always remembered her first name, it was an Italian word, see. A first year he'd not heard speak yet, or maybe he had, and just hadn't paid any attention. And the new Head of House, unknown entity and reason to be reasonably cautious for now. While eyeing him carefully, Kaiser used his teeth to take a cracker from the top of the stack in his left hand and manoeuvred the entire thing into his mouth. Crunch.
Austin finished the rest of his three cookies. He went up to mystery boy and Patrick. He then took a cookie from Kaiser's haul and started to eat it.
