It was the beginning of term and Piers was in rather high spirits. He had the grounds as his backyard, meaning his view every morning, day and night was perfect. The sound of squabbling teenagers didn't really complete it, but he would take it.

This fine afternoon, just a couple days after the opening feast, Piers was setting up a few giant spiderwebs along some trees that lined the lake. After posting an announcement for his dear Slytherins, it was now time for a little snake activity where they could all meet and have fun together. Thankfully, the last bits of Summer were still lingering, so the sun was out and the air was light - not too cool and not too warm.

While he waited for the prefects and the members of the Slytherin house, Piers was seen using his wand to stick previously mentioned spider webs. Four giant spider webs were set up. It may seem peculiar, but... all would make sense in due time.

Several feet away from the spider web set up, there was a table of refreshments laid out. Cookies, crackers, cheese and cold lemonade were ready for any of the students that showed up.
