And as for the lip tint... Well, she couldn't leave her house or dorm without it. Hold on, using make up (or at least lip color) was allowed at Hogwarts, right? She would flip if it was against the rules (but nude-colored lipsticks to the rescue, then!) "Oh, I was from Ilvermorny..." The Korean-American said, there was still a hint of Boston accent every time she spoke (and probably it wouldn't go away). "But I left the school after Christmas, my parents said I'd rather to be homeschooled before going to Hogwarts because of the different exam system. So I can have OWL scores before starting here." Yeah, the different exam systems was kind of driving her insane. She was supposed to do J.A.R.V.E.Y.S on her current year but apparently Hogwarts did the exams on fifth and seventh year.
She was actually a bit concerned about the blisters on Nina's feet, it didn't look good. Aurora had experienced that and it was just so painful. "Are you sure?" She asked Nina again, but if the girl thought she was fine for that then it's okay. "That's a nice pair of shoes though." Perhaps it was brand new so Nina still wasn't used to wear it. Understandable. The handbag was, admittedly, quite stunning. Nina knew quite a few things about fashion and she's particularly keen on accessorizing. How someone their age could get their hands on a Chanel bag (and then casually throw it onto a train heading to school) was quite curious. "Is it real?" she inquired, her eyes moving to the bag to indicate that she meant the purse.
To be quite honest, Nina found the girl's lengthy explanation entirely unnecessary. She didn't share this thought, however, instead the Slytherin simply nodded her head to indicate that she was listening. Which, to be fair, she was. Immediately hearing the name Ilvermorny was a great turn off. Another American. They were the worst. Always had to be the center of every conversation, didn't know much about cultures aside from their own, centered every gathering around food and food alone.... But again, she kept her smile in place. These were secret thoughts. "I left my previous school half way through the year as well." Unwillingly. And she STILL hated Hogwarts (mostly) for the record.
While Aurora seemed to show concern about Nina's blisters, the Slytherin wasn't as bothered. She nodded her head in reply to the question. Having blisters would come in handy for the rest of the night, especially if she played it right. "Thanks, they're new." Hence the blisters.
