Penelope was hobbling over to the bench and that was just fine. Daphne spent a couple moments rearranging things in the back of the stroller - a couple shopping bags and Pen's jacket just in case it decided to rain (London weather was unpredictable). She heard some baby babble and glanced up over the stroller to see Daphne standing next to the lady with the baby on the bench.

What she didn't realize was that Penelope, the chunky, darling three year old with a wild curly mop on top of her head, was repeating a few words in Russian that Vladimir had said to her a few times. Penelope had picked up on quite a few of them over the last year or so and had recognized some of the sounds the little baby was making.
