But she had already made all of her purchases and she hardly had any desire to venture into other shops. Especially not on her own.

And so, here she was.

Sitting on a bench, watching passerbyers and """"""reading"""""" a recent copy of witch weekly. (Un)surprisingly, the content was the same as the last issue, nothing new. Justine Janvier was seen with some person. Alice and West were still the it couple. Several new faces in the Professional Quidditch league. Plenty of spreads on the World Cup.

Honestly, why did she still bother to pretend liking this rubbish?
Drewett had always looked forward to summer after an entirely weird term at Hogwarts, and weird was probably an understatement because, if anything, that school was bonkers. It started off well before those furry pink creatures, while they were rather cute from a distance of five metres, started chomping on house tables and professors. The Ravenclaw had thought many times about letting himself be homeschooled at the Stemp House because of things, but he always found reasons to just want to come back. Like the library, with its wide array of literature. The astronomy tower, with the view of the grounds that was absolutely breath-taking from above. And most importantly, his friends. He wouldn't trade anything for the bonds he'd made at that bloody school. Hogwarts did him pretty well in that aspect.

He had ended up in Diagon Alley because Drewett realized he needed a new pair of trousers. Again. While growing up was nice with the perks and all, the fifteen-year-old hated the part where he needed to buy new everything. It was getting quite inconvenient, let's be real. But once he had that ticked off his to-do list, which was literally just that, he didn't know what else to do. He considered buying ice cream for a moment as he navigated through the high street until he saw a very familiar face by the bench and decided to make his way there. "Anything interesting?" He smiled a little and asked, one hand holding the paper bag from Madam Malkin's and the other tucked inside his pocket. He was a tad more confident now. Speech therapy was working better on him this summer.

Also... "May I sit?"
