Ok. So now he had to alert his Head of House. For the first time, he thought it was a shame that he wasn't able to cast a patronus so that meant that he had to go himself. Should he lock the door or something? That wouldn't stop them... Placing a defensive magical barrier? He wasn't powerful enough to do that...he had only mastered the protego charm a few months ago...
Deciding to not alarm the mutants in any way, he moved away from the door and continued down to the common room.

Walking up the boy’s dormitory staircase brought back many memories for Joshua from his own school days when he had been an eagle. He heard some noises from above his head, but he couldn’t decipher from this distance if it was boy voices he heard or noises from this pink furry creatures known as mutant that they were looking for.

Joshua was about turn on the landing to go search the first year dorms when he ran into Dorian that was walking down the staircase. Holding up a hand to stop him Professor Wishart greeted "Hello Dorian, have you and your peers already started the search of the boy dorms? Have you seen any signs of the mutants?"
