The thing was, when Emilia wanted something bad enough, she put the blinders on and didn't look back. It had always been that way, in every area of her life, and it didn't always end well. So far, though, it seemed to be paying off here at the ministry. The soon-to-be twenty year old felt motivated in a way she hadn't in a long time, and it felt good to have a direction, even if she knew she had a lot more road ahead of her to conquer.
