He asked eventually, picking up an entire branch that had apparently fallen off a nearby tree.

While he was busy looking for one single, lousy stick, Cameron only went and found what looked like half a freakin' tree. "Uhhhhhh. I think Professor Kennedy said we need sticks, not an entire branch."

Would a whole branch like that even work for a sundial?

"I guess we can just like.... snap some twigs off of that though?" That would be okay, right?
