Then, sensing danger, he pushed the rock back into his mouth, grabbed the other rock and scrambled to his feet. If he could get to the other side of the room, the thing in his mouth would be his! Clearly it had some sort of importance and by golly Reil was bound and determined to find out what it was!
Adam leapt over the sofa and the ducked back around behind the desk, goobery pet rock ear dripping slobber down the German’s chin (and other places) as it flopped around from his movements.
