The start of another year... She glanced around the great hall, looking after her younger siblings at their house tables... and here she was still alone... The only one still that made it to her father's former house. But at least this year she wouldn't serve as an honorary tour guide for three anxious first years like the previous with the twins and her younger sister.
She took a seat and glanced around at the other students. Every term she promised herself she'd make more friends... and every term she ended up letting her shyness get the better of her and ran in the other direction of anyone who tried to interact with her. Maybe this would finally be her year to not focus on all the other kids and try to focus on her own life... Because she really didn't want to graduate without any real memories of fun times outside of classes.
