This okay?” He asked knowing that the crowds were probably giving him anxiety. “We don’t have to stay long. Maybe ride some rides, eat some food, and then we can head out. What do you think?”
Ansel looked around the carnival. “ive never been to one of these. Have you?” Not even as a kid did he go to one. “Always wanted to but moms seemed to be busy when one came to town. I have a feeling that they just didn’t want me to go to one.” Though he wasn’t quite sure why. They seemed pleasant enough.
See? His boyfriend knew him so well. Ansel knew that he didn't like crowds, and knew that being in this place was going to make him uncomfortable. Indigo appreciated that he recognized that. And that he was looking out for him.
"It's okay," he said, and he wasn't lying. It was fine now. Now that he was with Ansel. Because Ansel made him feel much more comfortable than he would here on his own. So he could manage being here for a bit, but still hopefully not too long. So he nodded.
"Yeah, that sounds fine."
Indigo shook his head.
"No. I haven't." There'd never been a magical carnival like this back home. And he and Violet had never gone to a muggle one. He'd seen them from afar, but hadn't visited one. Mostly because most carnivals charged an entrance fee, and spare money they had growing up wasn't going to go toward a carnival. He let his gaze wander toward the menu. He was a bit hungry.
"What did you get?" Indigo eyes his boyfriend's chosen food a bit suspiciously.
